I seek 4 seasoned new BD professionals, who are interested in explore an individual contributor roles to help my Payments client attract key hold out Merchants to join their acceptance network, focused on Retail, Hotel, Food & Beverage / Restaurant targets in U.K
You’ll be responsible for driving acceptance growth through a direct-to-merchant sales approach, but utilising PSP / Acquirer connections.
The role involves building and maintaining a robust pipeline of new sales opportunities, engaging with merchants to drive acceptance take-up, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure the sales cycle is completed while delivering key wins & KPI’s
Applicants must have a solid network of potential prospects and partners in the target list of verticals.
Responsibilities:
* Qualify and close the most promising prospects and partners to grow a healthy pipeline across the retail & hospitality (Hotels, Food and Beverage) verticals.
* Build prospect engagement strategies and partner with marketing, business development, product and other departments to generate qualified pipeline through both cold and warm channels.
* Prepare high-quality presentations and proposals for C-suite stakeholders at prospective merchants, and implement effective negotiation strategies.
* Orchestrate the entire sales process, drive urgency, work to mutual action plans, and act as the main point of contact for merchants and internal stakeholders.
* Be highly motivated and committed to growth and development.
* Self-generate enterprise opportunities that lead to new merchant enablement.
* Drive new prospecting activity directly.
* Leverage referred and self-cultivated leads to nurture your pipeline.
