Total Roofing Supplies are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis. The role is office-based in Colchester area.
Salary: £35000.00
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays

About the role
As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will oversee a wide range of bookkeeping responsibilities. The role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Main responsibilities and Duties:
Complete double-entry bookkeeping, manage sales and purchase ledgers, and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and submit VAT returns.
Monitor bank accounts and track cash flow.
Manage payroll.
Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit & loss and balance sheet reports.
Credit Control
Communicate professionally with clients and internal team members and carry out general administrative tasks as required.
About you:
As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be professional, approachable, able to work accurately and confidently. Experienced in working with Intact Xline accounting software. You will hold a minimum of AAT Level 3 and have a minimum of three years practical bookkeeping experience. You will be adaptable, and flexible, with a positive mindset.
