Salary: up to £25,708.80 per annum (rising to £26,644.80 per annum after completing the Front of House Development course)
We are looking for an experienced Optical Assistant to join our amazing team in Sandbach, Cheshire. You will be the first point of contact for anyone visiting or contacting the practice, greeting clients in person or over the phone and listening to their needs before taking ownership of their queries. You will work closely with the Practice Manager, Optometrists, Audiologists, Dispensing Opticians and other team members to determine the best solutions and focus on our Welcome, Discover, Delight client journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service.
* Assist customers in selecting suitable frames, lenses, and other optical products.
* Dispense single focus lenses, multi-focal lenses and contact lenses.
* Schedule appointments and manage bookings.
* Maintain product displays and ensure the store is tidy and presentable.
* Handle administrative tasks, including processing payments and orders.

* Previous experience in optical retail.

The course also includes workshops on optical screening equipment, learning in a safe environment under experienced managers, exploration of the Audiology journey, a visit to the Zeiss Offices in Birmingham, and a final learning practice to apply everything you have learned.
