Our client is the Legal Services division of a growing and well funded group of businesses.
They are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their expanding legal team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you would manage your own caseload and play an active role in business development, benefiting from strong internal referrals across our group.
Key aspects of the role:
* Drafting legal documents for wills, lasting powers of attorney, and estate planning.
* Managing your own caseload, including probate matters and inheritance tax planning.
* Handling estates involving APR (Agricultural Property Relief) and BPR (Business Property Relief).
* Preparing and submitting IHT paperwork to HMRC and the Probate Registry.
* Meeting clients to provide clear, confident legal advice.
* Supporting and mentoring other team members.
* Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues, helping to grow the Private Client practice.
Skills & experience required:
* 3+ years PQE in Private Client law.
* Proven expertise in wills, LPAs, inheritance tax, probate, and estates involving APR/BPR.
* Excellent drafting and communication skills.
* Able to manage your workload independently while contributing to team targets.
* Strong IT skills, including MS Office and case management systems.
* Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to their offices and client sites.
The company offer a hybrid-working model, with 2 days per week required in one of their offices across the UK (with one day per week being at HQ in the East Midlands)
