About ARU: ARU LDS partners with police forces in the Eastern Region and the Metropolitan Police Service, training future police officers through various degree programmes and innovative initiatives, at police training facilities and our dedicated Police Education centre in London.
About the Role: Seeking an experienced academic leader to oversee police education programmes across multiple sites, develop new programmes regionally, nationally, and internationally, and lead academic quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You: Must have a degree, relevant teaching qualification, and experience leading academic teams in Higher Education, with familiarity with quality assurance frameworks. Experience in police education or public service partnerships is advantageous.
Additional Information: Background checks and vetting are required, including clearance from the College of Policing barring list and NPPV Level 2 clearance. The role involves regular travel between ARU and police sites.
Location: Flexible between home, Chelmsford, London, and Cambridge regions.
