Accounts Assistant Manager - Henley, Oxfordshire - £50,000 - £55,000

Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Henley, Oxfordshire, providing tailored services to a diverse range of clients, from SMEs to high-net-worth individuals and multinational corporations. What will you be doing?
* Managing a portfolio of clients, reviewing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
* Reviewing corporation tax computations and VAT returns
* Overseeing the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
* Handling client queries, including software-related issues
* Supporting and training junior team members and managing workflow
* Delivering excellent client service and assisting Partners with ad-hoc tasks
What do you need?
* ACA/ACCA qualified with 1-2 years post-qualification experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience in practice
* Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
* Experience with CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Alphatax (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to build strong client relationships and provide proactive advice
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
* Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
* A team player with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently to tight deadlines
