We are recruiting for a leading and prestigious Food Service Company based in Downham Market.
Due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Prep Room Operative to start as soon as possible.
This is an ongoing role potentially leading to permanent for the right candidate.
Working Hours
1. Monday – Friday, 7am till finish, usually between 4pm and 5pm
2. Saturdays, 7am till 11am during the busy season
Duties To Include
3. Preparing fresh produce to exact specifications
4. Using knives and prepping machines safely and efficiently
5. Accurately weighing produce for packing
6. Following daily production sheets and customer requirements
7. Working in a chilled environment
8. Keeping prep areas clean, organised and hygienic
9. Ensure that all tasks are carried out according to food safety legislation
10. Comply with HACCP function of the business
11. Ability to liaise effectively with managers & directors at all levels
