We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Infrastructure Roads team located in the Cambridge/Bedford area. You will be a Quantity Surveyor working on the Enabling phase supporting the forecasting and reporting to the client and internally to Skanska.
What you'll do:
1. Good working knowledge of NEC4 contracts/commercial law
2. Previous experience of managing the Client and Subcontractors
3. Knowledge of commercial digital systems (Oracle, CEMAR and ProjectWise)
4. Awareness of the commercial ‘shared success’ with the client
5. Provide commercial advice to delivery team
6. Support ‘Scheme Budget’ forecasting and reporting as required
7. Supporting cost control and capture
8. Supply Chain management within budget and time constraints
9. Support the timely and professional management of Client and Supply Chain contractual obligations
What you'll bring to the role:
10. MRICS or CICES desirable or working towards.
11. Degree or equivalent in commercial related subject.
12. Strong initiative and a proactive personality
13. Decision Making -Will share information, openly and willingly, involve the right people in decisions, and take decisions in an effective, timely manner
