Job Description
Key responsibilities will include:
* Provision of value-added services to the Power Tools (PT) division in order to support the achievement of targets with an emphasis on customer requirements.
* Manage the forecasting processes for Sales, Rebates, all Fixed Costs and Headcount, in addition to the actual performance of these P&L topics. This also requires liaison with external auditors at year end.
* Manage the monthly running of the PT P&L and reporting tool (Hyperion Financial Management).
* Manage consolidation and bridging of forecasting and year end rebates with Sales Directors as a main KPI for profitability for the whole business.
* Communicate complex financial concepts to Divisional Management in an effective manner.
* Act as consultant to Central Power Tools colleagues for process improvements and standardisation.
* Oversee tasks and performance of outsourced shared service activities to ensure accurate internal reporting. Manage new business requirements with the shared service centre.
* Test SAP to ensure new business models agree to PT, Legal & Finance requirements.
This role is viewed by the PT Management team as an important position with the management team of the PT organisation and through business partnering ensures PT are best equipped to steer the business units to meet their respective targets.
* This position is integral to supporting the Senior PT Controller in ensuring that current financial targets are met, new business opportunities are optimised and the division can be steered to future success in the UK.
* The business partnering elements concentrate on acting as a consultant to advise on new projects, business models, location decisions and optimisation of current processes and structures.
Qualifications

• A successful track record highlighting the ability to build strong relationships with internal customers, managing conflicts as well as negotiating outcomes to improve overall performance.
• Ability to tailor communication of financial matters to non-financial colleagues.
• Results focused and future orientated. Ability to multi-task and adapt very quickly to changes in the working environment.
• Experience in the monthly Reporting, Forecasting, Planning and Year End processes.
• Experience of using SAP FI-CO Module, advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Expertise in utilising tools for the management of big data.
Additional Information
This is a 24-month graduate program beginning in September 2026. This position is open to university graduates who have recently graduated from a university degree.
Location: you will be based at the Denham office.
