Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for Maintenance Engineer for medical device manufacturer based in Swindon. This is a permanent position.Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 with 1-hour unpaid lunch break.Salary £45000-£50000 DOEMain duties:
* Providing Electrical/Mechanical support to all areas of manufacturing & their processes while always adhering to GMP standards.
* Support to achieve production output standards
* Maintain Production Machinery and spare parts
* Plan Preventative Maintenance(PPM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs
* Respond quickly to machine breakdowns
* Monitor machine performance
* Analyse & monitor breakdown frequencies
* Maintain accurate documentation, records, and performance data
* Ensure safe systems of work are in place and adhered to
Requirements:
* Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing environment (preferably pharmaceutical)
* Proven experience in electrical and mechanical systems, including fault finding and machinery repair.
* Willingness to learn new skills
* Self-motivated, proactive
* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
* City & Guilds, NVQ, or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance or Installation preferred but not essential.

* 18th Edition
* H&S Qualifications
* Experience in pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment
