What exactly will you do?
6. Maintain and update the company’s sales ledger, ensuring all customer account information is accurate and current
7. Review sales documents and input contract information into the accounting system to set up invoicing schedules accordingly
8. Liaise with the Service Operations Director to resolve any issues that prevent invoicing
9. Reconciling contract invoicing to signed contracts
10. Monthly cashflow forecasting for various entities across multiple jurisdictions
11. Record and track costs for individual contracts
12. Provide financial insights to help management make strategic decisions
13. Prepare and distribute monthly statements and account summaries for internal and external stakeholders
14. Monitor overdue accounts, follow up on outstanding balances, and liaise with customers in line with company credit control policies
15. Identify discrepancies on customer accounts, and resolve issues efficiently
16. Record customer receipts promptly and accurately in the accounting system
17. Prepare sales agent commission reports and assist the sales team with any commission-related queries
18. Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
What we’re looking for
19. AAT qualification or equivalent experience
20. Strong knowledge of sales ledger and credit control processes including contract accounting
21. Advanced knowledge of Excel
22. Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
23. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
24. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving account discrepancies
