Residential Support Worker (Ofsted) - Provide full-time care for children aged 8-17 with emotional and behavioural disorders (EBD) in a registered children's home. You will ensure their daily needs are met, provide safeguarding and emotional support, and create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment in line with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted standards. Work includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as part of a caring team.
Additional salary information: Unqualified Residential Support Worker: £12.94 per hour (£33,152 per annum).
* Qualified Residential Support Worker (Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare): £13.50 per hour (£34,342 per annum). Sleep-in allowance: £60 per night (paid in addition to contracted hours). Overtime available. Funded training and professional development, including support to complete Level 3 Diploma (mandatory within 2 years if not already held). Clear progression routes to Senior Support Worker, Deputy Manager, and Registered Manager roles.
