Youll be part of a dedicated team reporting directly to the Head of Sustainability, working within a trusted, reputable organisation making a real difference.</p><h3>About you</h3><ul><li>Degree in Environmental Management, Sustainability, Science, or related field (essential)</li><li>Professional membership (IEMA, CIWM, CIEEM, Energy Institute) is desirable</li><li>Minimum of 2 years experience in environmental management, ideally within property, facilities management, or public‑sector estates</li><li>Knowledge of NI environmental legislation and ISO standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 50001)</li><li>Experience conducting environmental audits, reporting, and implementing EMS</li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills</li><li>Proven ability to influence stakeholders and foster a culture of sustainability</li></ul><h3>What you’ll do</h3><ul><li>Lead and maintain the Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 and support energy management activities aligned with ISO 50001</li><li>Ensure full compliance with NI environmental legislation, regulations, and internal policies</li><li>Manage environmental risks through diligent monitoring, audits, and corrective actions across a multi‑site estate</li><li>Deliver audits, inspections, and compile assurance reports, tracking improvements and non‑conformances</li><li>Cultivate an environmental culture through staff training, engagement, and communication strategies</li><li>Support sustainable procurement and carbon reporting initiatives, ensuring operational delivery aligns with environmental targets</li><li>Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to embed environmental considerations into all operational activities</li></ul></div>
