NDT Engineer PortsmouthAn established leader in the Aerospace & Defence sector, based in Portsmouth, is seeking an experienced NDT Engineer to join their high-performing engineering team on a permanent basis.This is a business-critical role responsible for ensuring the integrity and compliance of core products through effective non-destructive testing. You’ll work alongside skilled professionals in a well-supported, technically challenging environment where quality and precision are paramount.Key Responsibilities: * Perform and maintain daily NDT activities in line with and internal procedures. * Carry out inspections using Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) techniques. * Interpret and evaluate results in accordance with customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality codes. * Develop and document NDT techniques to meet customer and regulatory requirements. * Produce accurate and detailed NDT inspection reports. * Maintain technical records and ensure traceability of all inspections and related data. * Ensure that all work adheres to the highest quality standards. * Use Microsoft Office tools to support documentation and reporting tasks.Required Qualifications & Experience: * Certification to BS EN 4179 or PCN standards. * Proven experience in Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT). * Competence in visual weld inspection. * Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.What’s in It for You: * Monday to Friday schedule with an early finish every Friday (12pm) * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Company pension scheme * Work with cutting-edge technologies in a highly regulated and respected industry
