We are looking for a personable self-starter with a positive, professional attitude, capable of working collaboratively across disciplines, establishing excellent rapport within teams, with clients, and managing pressure and deadlines while maintaining technical excellence.
Primary Objective
To effectively manage large multidisciplinary teams on substations for mission-critical projects, support business growth through sales and business development, and ensure project delivery meets technical, schedule, and profit targets. Promote cross-disciplinary collaboration and liaise with Senior Directors.
Responsibilities
1. Project Management: Take full responsibility for project performance across all disciplines, ensuring coordination, quality, and commercial management to meet profit targets.
2. Financial Performance: Review and be accountable for project costing, profit, and sales reports, and prepare quarterly board reports.
3. Sales & Business Development: Maintain client relationships, lead project presentations, manage invoicing, pursue sales opportunities, and develop new markets and contacts.
4. General Duties: Manage resources, ensure compliance and quality, meet deadlines, oversee project scope changes, and support team training and development.
5. Skills & Experience: BEng/MSc in Electrical Engineering or related, minimum 10 years technical design experience, leadership skills, proficiency in MS Office, and ongoing pursuit of professional qualifications.
6. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, 15 years related experience, 7+ years project management, and demonstrated strategic and business development skills.
