We specialis4e in optimising asset performance, including motors, gear boxes, pumps, machining induction, condition monitoring and fabrication services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure workflow procedures are followed.
2. Operate various machines tools to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies.
3. Record all data necessary to produce and expected service and/or design results including sizes and illustrations.
4. Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, and conventional milling and lathe work, using various engine lathes (e.g., horizontal and vertical mills and horizontal boring lathes).
5. Balance mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment.
6. Perform various metalizing (metal spraying) techniques as needed.
7. Understand materials and applications as required.
8. Set up and perform tool-post grinding operations (e.g., precision surface facing), broaching procedures, and Babbitt bearing work.
9. Perform various welding operations, including setup and use of MIG, TIG, torch and stick welders.
