Senior Planner
Company: National Contractor / Building
Salary: Up to £80,000 plus car allowance and benefits
Location: Yorkshire
The Opportunity..
Due to a string of recent contract awards, a leading national contractor contractor with a turnover of almost £500m is looking for an ambitious Planner or Senior Planner to join their Yorkshire region. The successful Planner will work on a mix of tenders and live projects ranging from £5m to £50m in value, across a varied mix of sectors including education, commercial and healthcare to name a few.
What will they consider?
1. An experienced Planner looking for a step up to Senior Planner.
2. An established Senior Planner that is looking for a fresh challenge.
Key requirements for the Senior Planner position..
3. Main contracting background within the building sector.
4. A practical construction management or engineering background is preferred but not essential.
5. Proficient in the use of Asta PowerProject software.
6. Exposure to a variety of commercial construction projects upwards of £10m.
7. Good understanding of various forms of tender documents, contract documents and specifications including JCT, NEC or bespoke forms of Construction Contracts.
8. Excellent communication skills, works well under pressure, team player, able to work autonomously when required.
9. Full UK Driving Licence.
10. Qualified to a high standard in a relevant subject.
