We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Conveyancing Legal Secretary / Assistant to join a busy and friendly legal team based in Chelmsford 🤝
* Providing full secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the conveyancing department
* Preparing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence 📄
* Managing client files from instruction through to completion 📂
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors 📞
* Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner ✉️
* Audio typing and general document production ⌨️
* Diary management and scheduling appointments 📅
* Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential
* Strong administrative and organisational skills 🧠
* Excellent communication and client care abilities 💬
* Fast and accurate typing skills ⏱️
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team 👥
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems 💻
