This long-term role offers a competitive salary from M1 (£37,868) to UPS3 (£56,154), depending on experience.
This ambitious and forward-looking school is searching for a Science specialist who can inspire curiosity and strong progress across Key Stages 3 and 4, with KS5 experience considered an advantage. You will become part of a collaborative and well-organised Science Department known for its supportive culture, high standards, and commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
In this role, you will lead stimulating, well-planned lessons that build students scientific knowledge, practical skills, and confidence. The successful candidate will contribute positively to the department and uphold the inclusive, aspirational ethos of the school.
What the School is Looking for:
A qualified Science Teacher with QTS or a PGCE in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
Experience teaching Science up to KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
Strong behaviour management and a reflective, proactive teaching style
Confident in delivering, planning, and assessing high-quality Science lessons
A genuine enthusiasm for the subject and a commitment to helping every student succeed
