Job Summary

FM Building Manager (2pm to 10pm) - Education
The successful candidate will support the delivery of FM services by supervising and undertaking duties such as building and ground cleaning, janitorial services, School Crossing Patrol, porterage, letting, and building security.
Reporting to the FM Coordinator - Education, you will supervise FM operational teams to ensure effective delivery of services to stakeholders.
You will ensure a safe environment by complying with Health & Safety Regulations and Policies. You will carry out minor property repairs, monitor and report other repairs, and maintain the Property 6 Pack, ensuring procedures are followed and records are kept up to date.
PVG / Disclosure Scotland
All roles within East Dunbartonshire Council requiring PVG/Disclosure checks are subject to the following criteria:
Successful candidates for Regulated Roles under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check before employment is confirmed. The cost of the check will be deducted from the first salary, and in some cases, in installments, with approval from HR & OD. If an employee leaves before full payment, the remaining amount will be deducted from the final salary.
This applies to both new applicants and existing employees applying for roles requiring a PVG/Disclosure check.
