About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Customer Success Manager to lead strategic relationships with high-value clients, oversee a team of Customer Success Managers, and drive value through retention, renewal, and growth initiatives. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in SaaS customer success, ideally within HR technology or employee relations. The position is remote with required travel to our office in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire at least twice a month.
Responsibilities
* Act as a strategic advisor and primary point of contact for key client accounts
* Build and maintain long-term relationships that deliver measurable business value
* Lead, coach, and support Customer Success Managers through 1:1s, performance reviews, and development planning
* Own renewal strategies and drive account retention
* Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with sales and product teams
* Collaborate internally to align client goals with cross-functional priorities
* Maintain and utilise CRM tools such as HubSpot to track customer interactions and inform strategy
* Analyse customer data and feedback to drive continuous improvement in service delivery
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a senior Customer Success or Account Management role within a SaaS environment
* Background in HR tech, employee relations, or people tech is strongly preferred
* Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Commercial acumen and ability to identify client growth opportunities
* Experience managing and developing direct reports
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM platforms is an asset
* Ability to derive actionable insights from data and present to internal and external stakeholders
