In Office / Hybrid Pattern
There will be a full time requirement in office during the probation period and after successful review the role will move onto a hybrid pattern of 3 days in office and 2 days working from home.
Job Purpose
To provide full administrative support to Investment Managers, ensuring client satisfaction through direct contact with clients and other operational colleagues, while adhering to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the aligned Investment Managers to deliver excellent client outcomes.
* Build relationships with clients and maintain regular contact.
* Maintain back‑office systems and client records in line with the company policies.
* Request policy information from third‑party policy providers if applicable.
* Liaise with operational teams where support is provided on activities such as scripts, transfers, corporate actions, and static data changes where applicable.
* Prepare meeting packs and valuations as required.
* Assist investment managers in preparing new business pitches and presentations.
* Deal with cash transfers, foreign‑exchange transactions, and monitoring of account balances for clients.
* Process all business in accordance with required processes and proactive pipeline management, including establishing new accounts on internal systems and collating AML documentation.
* Identify and report any risks, breaches, or errors through ensuring risks are logged and mitigated with actions and controls.
* Encourage client use of portal and other digital tools, providing guidance where required.
* Collaborate and share best practices with colleagues.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Proven experience working in investment management or financial planning.
* Experience of account opening, reviews, and preparation of packs and presentations.
* A strong ethic of client service.
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, influencing and organisational skills.
* Ability to use judgement and reasoning to propose solutions to problems.
Professional Qualifications and Education
* Excellent standard of education, ideally degree‑qualified but not essential.
* Interested in further development through additional qualifications.
