Ward Manager – Mental Health (RMN / RNLD)
(Must have previous management experience in Mental Health Setting)
Location: Edmonton (Must be living in the UK)
Position: Ward Manager (Must be RMN/RNLD Qualified)
Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours available
12 Hour Shifts: Days or Nights or a Mixture available, Subject to availability.
Salary: up to £26.15 per hour / £51,000 per year (based on 37.5 hours)
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a….
* An experienced Registered Nurse. The service welcomes applications from Mental Health Nurses and Learning Disability Nurses.
* Registered with a valid NMC Pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK.
Responsibilities
* Manages staffing, schedules, and training for nursing team efficiently.
* Provides support, supervision, and recognition to nursing staff.
* Sets example as a mentor and leader, fostering a culture of learning and professionalism.
* Ensures compliance with hospital policies and standards of care.
* Addresses patients’ physical, mental, and psychological needs effectively.
* Establishes clear procedures for ward operations and patient care.
* Contributes to staff recruitment and retention efforts.
* Maintains accurate clinical documentation and communication.
* Builds strong relationships with colleagues and promotes diversity and equality.
* Handles clinical and HR investigations thoroughly and promptly.
* Ensures compliance with relevant mental health legislation.
* Promotes incident reporting and learning within the team.
* Facilitates effective multidisciplinary team collaboration.
* Undertakes additional responsibilities like audits and recruitment support.
* Maintains communication with external stakeholders.
* Participates in onsite on-call duties.
