We are recruiting for an experienced Head Chef to work with us.
Rate of pay: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Working pattern: Monday to Friday 40 hours - 6.30/6.45am - 3/3.30pm
Location: EC2M 4UJ
Key Responsibilities
Overall management of the kitchen operation reporting into the Executive Chef and working closely with the Chef Director
Manage 6 Sous Chefs and wider kitchen team of 23
To prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard
To ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus
To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations
To be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers
Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standard
Provide feedback and coaching on performance
To ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSSH and Food Hygiene training
Our Ideal Candidate
Previous experience managing a large team in a fast paced environment providing fresh food daily
Passion for providing creative, fresh food menus daily, aware of current food trends in London
Previous experience in contract catering would be advantageous
