Lunchtime Supervisor – Special Needs School – Southwark
Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 1:30pm Term‑time only
Start date – ASAP
We are recruiting a reliable, caring and proactive Lunchtime Supervisor to join a welcoming special needs school in Southwark. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference in a supportive school community.
About the Role
You will be part of the team responsible for ensuring pupils have a safe, enjoyable and structured lunchtime. The role includes:
1. Making lunchtimes safe, happy and structured
2. Supporting pupils in the dining hall
3. Encouraging play, social skills and positive behaviour
4. Assisting children with additional needs
5. Being a friendly, reliable part of the school community

7. Confidence working with children, ideally including those with special educational needs
8. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
