As the
Cluster Facilities Manager
, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our two retirement villages: Sunningdale Park in Ascot and Coopers Hill in Englefield Green. Your leadership will ensure that our owners experience safety, comfort, and satisfaction in their homes. With the support of a dedicated grounds and maintenance team, you will be responsible for building an exceptional environment that meets the high standards our owners expect. Your Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of maintenance and grounds staff, including hiring, training, and performance management. Collaborate with various departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support operational goals. Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs. Manage maintenance budgets, seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Liaise with contractors and suppliers to oversee work performed on-site. Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and address owner concerns professionally. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations. Prepare business presentations to share action plans with team members and owners. Be available for emergency calls to assist colleagues as needed. What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in senior living or hospitality. Multi-site experience is a plus. Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related fields. Health and safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely). Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and develop your team. Experience in budget management and cost control. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Knowledge of building regulations and health, safety, and environmental standards. Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Flexibility to respond to emergencies and work occasional evenings or weekends. General technical knowledge and experience in various trades. Pool plant operator knowledge is preferable. What We Offer You
