About the Role:
We are looking for an Infrastructure Manager to lead the delivery, maintenance, and ongoing development of critical infrastructure within a highly regulated nuclear defence environment. This role is responsible for ensuring infrastructure projects and operational activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with business objectives.
Working closely with key stakeholders, you will manage requirements, oversee project delivery and budgets, and coordinate resources to ensure infrastructure assets remain compliant, resilient, and fit for purpose. You will play a key role in maintaining environmental and operational standards, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the safe and effective operation of essential defence infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand operational and capability requirements, ensuring infrastructure solutions are aligned to business needs and delivered effectively.
* Develop, agree, and monitor delivery programmes for infrastructure works, ensuring planned maintenance, repairs, and project activities are completed within agreed targets, service levels, and contractual timescales.
* Oversee the delivery of site infrastructure requirements and capital projects, coordinating with the client, contractors, and wider project teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
* Manage and monitor infrastructure budgets, forecasts, and expenditure, ensuring effective cost control and value for money across all site activities and projects.
* Ensure all infrastructure assets and associated activities comply with statutory, regulatory, and organisational requirements, particularly within a highly regulated nuclear defence environment.
* Work closely with clients and internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with energy management, waste management, sustainability, and environmental standards, supporting wider business and regulatory objectives.
* Identify infrastructure risks, maintenance issues, and operational challenges, implementing timely corrective actions and driving continuous improvement to enhance asset performance and resilience.
* Support the planning and delivery of long-term infrastructure strategies, ensuring site assets remain safe, compliant, and fit for purpose to meet current and future operational demands.
Key Requirements:
Essential:
* MS O365 proficient.
* Health & Safety background.
* Excelled stakeholder management and engagement at all levels.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* Organised with ability to work on own initiative.
* Sole UK National, with the ability to obtain and SC Clearance.
Desirable:
* Project management experience.
* Risk Management experience.
