About the Role
Mill House Veterinary Surgery and Hospital, part of IVC Evidensia, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon. Salary up to £75,000 per annum plus relocation allowance up to £2,000 and welcome bonus up to £5,000.
Core Responsibilities
* Provide general clinical veterinary practice to a varied caseload in a busy first‑opinion hospital.
* Handle referrals in internal medicine, laparoscopy, radiology, soft‑tissue and orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, and acupuncture.
* Support oncology, diagnostic imaging and medical services using equipment such as CT, laparoscopy, vascular sealing device, harmonic scalpel, CR digital X‑ray, digital dental X‑ray, colour‑flow doppler, capnography, ventilator and slit lamp.
* Maintain a client‑focused approach and offer high‑quality patient care.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of 2 years’ veterinary surgical experience (certificates welcome but not essential).
* Client‑focused attitude and enthusiasm for general clinical practice.
* Optional certificates in ECC, soft‑tissue and ophthalmology.
Working Arrangements
* Full‑time: 38 hours over 4 days per week with 1:4 weekend rotation and no out‑of‑hours.
