THE ROLE:
Supporting the Tooling Team with tool changes, cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure continuity and minimum disruption to production. Duties will include:
* Assembly and changing of production tooling.
* Clean down.
* Analysis of tooling condition and reporting of defects and issues.
* Support in any required maintenance or upgrades.Updating of tooling maintenance records
THE CANDIDATE:
* Previous experience in a “Mechanical” role, servicing, maintaining or carrying out basic repairs (open to industry or mechanical application).
* Use of hand-tools and associated equipment.
* Relevant qualifications would be a benefit, but transferable skill set is more important.
* General duties can be trained, but applicants will need some abilities and knowledge around mechanical systems
* Excellent problem-solving skills along with attention to detail and pride in their work.
* Strong communication and reporting skills
