Summary
Support plant manufacturing/distribution operations. Operators are responsible for 5 palletizer areas, ensuring finished products (cases) are properly palletized and labeled for shipment. Responsibilities include managing peco pallets, placing J-Leak pallets on the line, and taking breaks as needed.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
* Work with all departments to meet or exceed safety goals, maintaining awareness of safety, product quality, and GMP standards.
* Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and train on palletizer equipment, conveyors, stretch wrappers, RFID systems, ticket scanners, and related applications.
* Perform quality checks on finished product cases for defects such as pallet pattern, printing errors, codes, leaks, and carton issues.
* Troubleshoot mechanical jams, replenish labels and shrink-wrap film, and unjam pallets using appropriate tools.
* Rework collapsed pallets and maintain good housekeeping through cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
* Unload pallets from trailers and load hoppers as needed.
* Maintain downtime logs and serve as a backup material handler during absences.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
