Job Title: Manager Outbound and Transformation/Bundling
Location: East Midlands
As Manager Outbound & Transformation, you will take ownership of a critical and dynamic part of our warehouse operations, ensuring the flawless execution of outbound, value-added- & transformation services for some of the most demanding global high-tech clients.
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering operational excellence across picking, packing & outbound flows, configuration center activities, and value-added services, while driving continuous improvement and transformation initiatives in line with client expectations and organisational goals. This includes ensuring service provision within agreed quality standards and SLAs, proactive process optimisation, effective cost control, and the implementation of new services and improvements as assigned.
Working closely with your team and internal and external stakeholders, you will lead with a strong focus on operational performance, client satisfaction, and employee engagement in a fast-paced and complex environment.
Your Tasks:
1. Lead and oversee all activities of your area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with strict quality & HSSE standards and agreed SLAs.
2. Monitor KPIs and operational data and communicate performance to internal and external stakeholders.
3. Proactively identify and escalate operational discrepancies or service risks to ensure quick resolution and client satisfaction.
4. Drive daily operational performance, continuously identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
5. Lead, develop, and coach the team, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
6. Ensure cost-effective operations and contribute to achieving the organization’s operational margin and profitability targets.
7. Continuously improve team structures and processes to meet the dynamic requirements of a demanding high-tech environment.
Your Profile:
8. Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management, ideally in a multi-client, high-demand environment.
9. Hands-on experience working with SAP (or a comparable ERP system) in a warehouse or supply chain context.
10. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams to achieve high levels of performance.
11. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed demanding quality standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
12. Analytical mindset with strong skills in KPI monitoring, operational reporting, and cost management.
13. Confident communicator, able to effectively collaborate with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders, and to escalate and resolve issues proactively.
14. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
15. Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field preferred is desirable.
