Teaching Assistant for primary school based in Southampton
Supporting children in KS1 and KS2 including PE and sports clubs
Weekly pay - £85 - £110 per day, term time only
A large primary school in the heart of Southampton is looking for a sports teaching assistant to join their supportive and welcoming team. This primary school has a great team dynamic, supportive senior management and is looking for a real team player who is flexible and keen to get stuck in.
The role of sports teaching assistant:
As a sports teaching assistant your role with vary day to day
As a teaching Assistant you will be working within the classroom assisting the class teacher with lessons and behaviour
As a teaching Assistant you will be assisting and sometimes running PE/sports sessions
As a teaching assistant you will be running lunchtime and after school clubsBenefits of the sports teaching assistant:

8:30-4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Support and learning courses offered on the job
Southampton location, great transport linksDesirable qualities of the sports teaching assistant:
Sports related degree/qualification or equivalent
Minimum 3 months child related experience either classroom based, or coaching/summer clubs etc
Passion for education and well being of students
