Managing Quantity Surveyor
East Anglia – £50m coastal defence and pumping station project on the East Coast.
Responsibilities
* See the bigger picture to commercially deliver larger and larger projects.
* Build relationships with clients and subcontractors.
* Ensure contracts are well managed and that subcontractors are properly procured and paid.
* Monitor contract progress and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to minimise costs and maximise value for money.
* Monitor changes to the project and handle discussions around their impact on cost sensitively.
* Grow professionally through exposure, mentorship, and soft skills and technical training.
* Build invaluable professional networks.
Requirements
* Experience from a main contractor, regional contractor or subcontracting background.
* Strong civil or civil infrastructure background required.
