Prospero is seeking Teaching Assistants, Tutors, and Support Workers for Pupil Referral Units, SEMH Schools, and alternative education settings across West and North Yorkshire for long-term and short-term roles, many of which lead to permanent positions. These roles are a great platform if you're considering a career in education, especially if you plan to pursue teacher training or work with young people more broadly. Many of these positions have resulted in permanent employment, with graduates progressing to roles in education, sports coaching, or psychology fields.
We especially welcome applications from candidates with experience or interest in:
* A genuine passion for working with young people and improving their outcomes
* Youth community work experience, either voluntary or paid
* Studies in Sport Science, Sports Coaching, or Psychology
* An outgoing, confident personality capable of working independently
* Some SEND experience – SEMH, PMLD, Autism, or other additional learning needs
* Experience in residential support or as a care worker
* Possession of Team Teach or physical intervention training, or willingness to train
* Mentoring or 1:1 tuition in English, Maths, or Science
* Support roles in Teaching/Learning Assistance, Numeracy, and Literacy
