To be considered for this role you must have experience working with children with special needs, an added bonus would be to hav e relevant qualifications. It is desirable you have knowledge of needs including ASD, ADHD and SEMH (Social, Emotional Mental Health). The Role The teaching staff at this school work as a team to support children not just with their learning but developing and growing as individuals. Your predominant duties will include offering 1:1 support as well interventions outside the main classroom. You must be able to handle situations calmly, bringing a positive, patient attitude to the environment. You will not be expected to plan or mark, but offering creative enthusiasm to lessons is vital!
