Salaried Partner – Property & Construction
Stamford, Lincolnshire
Step into partnership. Shape the future. Join a firm with real heritage.
Are you a senior property or construction lawyer ready to take the next step into partnership?
Do you enjoy complex, high-value disputes but still want a seat at the table on front-end project work?

The Role
Working alongside the Head of Department and a strong team of lawyers, you’ll play a key role in delivering strategic, high-quality advice to a diverse client base, including employers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants and trade federations.
Your work will be primarily focused on contentious construction and property matters, with an additional advisory element supporting clients at the front end of projects.

Supporting Work – Non-Contentious
* Drafting and advising on construction and engineering contracts, professional appointments and collateral warranties
* Advising on procurement strategy, risk allocation and contract administration
* Collaborating with Real Estate and Corporate teams on wider transactions
Beyond the Legal Work
As a Partner, you’ll also:
* Build and strengthen long-term client relationships through practical, solution-focused advice
* Work closely with other partners on joint mandates and business development
* Contribute to marketing, thought leadership, seminars and networking events
* Mentor and support junior lawyers within the team
About You
* Law degree with 8+ years’ PQE (construction law experience advantageous)
* Commercially aware, with a strong understanding of client business needs
* Confident in advocacy, negotiation and drafting
* Comfortable working independently while thriving as part of a collaborative team
