* Oversee the production of single-line diagrams (SLDs), protection coordination studies, earthing, and cable sizing calculations.
* Coordinate multi-disciplinary design inputs (civil, structural, controls, and SCADA) to ensure seamless integration with electrical designs.
* Ensure all designs comply with UK Grid Code, ENA standards, DNO/TSO requirements, and health and safety regulations.
* Review and approve design documentation produced by internal engineers and external consultants.
* Manage interfaces with clients, EPC contractors, and equipment suppliers to ensure design intent and technical requirements are met.
* Support value engineering, risk assessment, and constructability reviews.
* Lead design reviews and ensure all deliverables align with project schedules and budgets.
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
* Support the connection application process and liaise with DNOs/TSOs for HV connections.
