Full-Time Mainstream Primary Teacher – Year 1 Class – Primary School in Bournemouth
GSL Education are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Mainstream Primary Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Bournemouth. This full-time position is within a Year 1 class and is set to commence in September 2025.
The school is seeking a committed educator with at least one year of experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (KS1), who is passionate about fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:
Deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Year 1 pupils.
Plan and implement differentiated learning activities aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
Stay informed about best practices and developments in primary education.
Requirements for the Primary Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Minimum of one year’s experience teaching within KS1.
Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps).
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
