SRG is pleased to be partnering with an organisation involved in the development of human biomimetic platforms. As a Senior Scientist working in the Biology team, you will be managing scientific projects and reporting to the lead scientist.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive and lead projects which develop or utilise Organ-on-a-Chip technology for drug development and discovery.
2. Conduct and optimise experiments or protocols using cell biology and bioengineering tools.
3. Provide fully costed and planned projects and active use of project management tools to track budgets and schedules.
4. Rigorously analyse and interpret experiments and present data in numerous formats.
5. Ensure all experiments are correctly recorded and data integrity is maintained to a high standard.
6. Communicate progress, successes and challenges with the Biology team, commercial team and wider company when required.
7. Be responsible for all aspects of running experiments including upkeep of the lab, maintaining stocks, record keeping, updating protocols and maintaining good health and safety practices.
8. Supervise, mentor and train junior members of the team in scientific and operational aspects.
