In this role, you will deliver a wide range of high quality services to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a memorable and positive experience for all.Collaborating closely with both the catering department and ward based teams, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient and effective service delivery. We are committed to excellence in customer care, and your contribution will help us uphold the highest standards of hospitality and service.If you are passionate about providing exceptional service in a healthcare environment and thrive in a team oriented setting, we want to hear from you!What you'll do:Experience in bulk food service at ward level and adherence to food safety standardsProficiency in completing and maintaining accurate meal service documentation, including temperature records and cleaning schedulesSkilled in wash up procedures, including mechanical dishwashing and hand washing of equipmentAbility to efficiently set up and clean trolleys, and maintain equipment and service areas in line with safety protocolsStrong understanding of onsite delivery and collection of ward level food items and associated documentationKnowledge of reporting mechanical defects and coordinating repairs with the duty supervisorCommitment to adhering to health and safety legislation and completing all required training and certificationsWhat you bring:Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and staffAbility to work well under pressureAbility to achieve performance criteria, with particular regard to hygienePositive approach to learning in roleSelf motivatedAble to use own initiativeAbility to work effectively as part of a teamBasic Food Hygiene CertificatePrevious experience in a catering environmentWhat we offer:Working at Sodexo isn't just a job, it's a chance to make a difference every day.
