Overview of Key Responsibilities:
● Lead the HR function for Victoria’s Secret, designing, developing and delivering the people strategy for the brand, ensuring it aligns with the wider People strategy
● Build effective relationships with Senior Managers across VS and NBL to understand the demands, challenges and future plans and build robust commercial people plans for each business
● Manage, develop and support the HR Manager and HR Coordinator
● Work with the Senior Culture and Communications Manager to deliver the annual engagement survey across both businesses. Analyse data and results to identify opportunities for new ways of working to drive and improve productivity and employee engagement
● Lead and support delivery of organisational change initiatives e.g. implementation of new structures, ways of working, changes to reward and benefit policies and processes
● Lead and manage the annual compensations processes across each business, specifically budget, pay review and bonus, ensuring all processes are managed within the assigned budgets and timelines
● Lead talent management initiatives, performance management, career development, and talent mapping sessions to ensure we attract, retain, and develop top talent and effectively manage low performers
● Coach Managers to develop leadership capability, identify future talent, engage their teams and manage change effectively
● Partner with L&D Partner to build business learning plans for each business area, focusing on any training needs and provide bespoke training interventions e.g. coaching, team days as appropriate
● Partner closely with Talent Partners to identify top external talent to fill current and future vacancies
● Work closely with the wider People team, sharing information and contributing to wider team projects; taking the lead on assigned key projects which support the overall People strategy across each business
● Build and maintain close relationships with key stakeholders at Next and utilise to share best practice and projects
● Partner with NEXT and relevant brokers on contractual benefits, managing the annual renewal windows and removal and introduction of group wide benefits
● Lead on complex ER cases, working with Leaders to find commercial and legally compliant solutions for any issues that arise, in addition to overseeing the management of lower level ER cases managed by the HR Manager and/or People Advisor
● Act as the People lead for retail store opening, resite and closing programmes (Victoria’s Secret only)
● Ensure compliance across each business/department with relevant policies and employment legislation

● Proven track record of working with business leaders to drive and manage change to
improve business performance
● Experience partnering with Senior Leaders during periods of change and uncertainty
● Strong ER knowledge and experience managing high level cases such as tribunal and settlements
Experience leading a team
