CONTRACT SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT
CONTRACT: MINIMUM 4 WEEKS
START DATE: WEDNESDAY 29TH OCTOBER
RATE: £550 / DAY

We are on the hunt for an experienced Solutions Architect from a technical background with strong business acumen who can provide consultancy to companies seeking to enhance their approach to building software products. Working across a range of industries in both B2B and B2C space you will review technology strategy, architecture and infrastructure, approach to SDLC and governance; giving holistic guidance on best practice and optimisation opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will lead the review of client applications and their technology and product strategy.
* You will produce detailed reports providing guidance on enhancements, best practice, and risk mitigation.
* Working directly with clients, you will interact with senior stakeholders to understand the business objectives and strategy; uncover and challenge technical requirements, technology approaches, methodology, security and tech stack decisions in line with business goals.
* You will review and interpret architectural approach, infrastructure and data flows; assessing advising on best practice SDLC methodology and ways of working.
* Investigation will include the review of architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
* You will maintain effective internal relationships with sales, technical, product and delivery colleagues.
* You will be confident in providing technical support during sales pitches and proposals and will help to identify and promote additional value add services.
SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT (APPS) REQUIREMENTS
* Experience in software, application, and/or enterprise architecture methods and approaches.
* Experience in developing, deploying, and operating software solutions in the cloud.
* Experience in a variety of programming languages and technologies.
* Experience with Agile methodologies
* Excellent communication skills, able to articulate product requirements and business strategy to a technical and non-technical audience and influence effectively in both spoken and written form.
* Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
