Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP The Mount, a category C training prison built on the site of a former RAF station on the outskirts of Bovingdon village, Hertfordshire. In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Hours: Weekdays 07:45 – 16:45 and 07:45 – 18:30; Weekends 08:30 – 18:00. There is an expectation to work 1 weekend in 4.
Responsibilities
* Be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care.
* Undertake a wide variety of tasks including screening, assessments, examinations, and tests, as well as answering emergency calls and potentially being the first responder to emergencies.
* Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
* Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care, building strong multi-disciplinary teams and supporting colleagues to perform well.

Qualifications and Requirements
* NMC Registered Nurse – Adult
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* Ability to work within a busy environment
* Ability to work unsupervised while following policy and procedures
* Enhanced Clinical Practitioner L6 or L7
* Advanced Clinical Practitioner L7 (including NMP)
Experience
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment. Secure environments are challenging but rewarding places for healthcare professionals. Salary and Contract
This position is full time, with a salary up to £52,507 per annum, depending on experience.
