We are looking for a full-time consultant general physician for a fixed term position at a top general hospital on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island. Position Highlights Fixed term FTE post in a large, secondary level, 400-bed accredited public facility providing acute and elective care for a region of over 176,000 people. The general medicine department cares for over 8,000 patients each year. It includes 4 medical wards and a 20-bed acute assessment unit. currently 8 teams run with registrar, house officer, and trainee intern support. The medical department has a strong team spirit and a busy education calendar. It includes over 40 doctors from various specialties.
