About the role
As an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One you will plan and implement activities that delight residents across our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You will also support the Home Manager with organising essential fundraising events and help residents develop confidence to socialise more effectively. This part‑time role is 16 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate and evaluate activities that meet residents’ interests and needs.
* Assist the Home Manager with fundraising event arrangements.
* Encourage resident participation and team engagement with kindness and compassion.
Qualifications
* Background working with vulnerable individuals, preferably with experience developing activity programmes.
* Strong planning, organisational and IT skills, able to manage time effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine, appreciative approach to residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding
Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and respond in accordance with safeguarding policy. Attend appropriate safeguarding training and, when required, seek advice and report concerns.
