Electrical Solar Supervisor Locations: Middlesbrough & Exeter (UK) Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Contract / Permanent Rate/Salary: Competitive (based on experience) Travel/Allowance ⸻ Job Overview: We are recruiting for experienced Mechanical & Electrical Supervisors to support the delivery of utility-scale solar farm projects in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the UK’s renewable energy transition while managing on-site construction and installation teams. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Supervise mechanical and electrical installations on active solar sites • Manage and coordinate site crews and subcontractors • Enforce health and safety procedures (RAMS, toolbox talks) • Ensure quality control and compliance with design specifications • Support testing, commissioning, and site documentation ⸻ Candidate Requirements: • 3 years’ experience in solar or M&E construction (essential) • Previous site supervision or team lead experience • ECS/CSCS card required • SSSTS or SMSTS certification (preferred) • Full UK driving license • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Right to work in the UK (mandatory) ⸻ Locations & Site Conditions: • Middlesbrough (North East) • Exeter (South West) Travel may be required between sites; travel/accommodation support available depending on role type. ⸻ Why Join Us? • Work with leading solar EPCs and developers • Be part of high-impact renewable projects • Long-term pipeline of work • Supportive, people-first team culture
