We have an exciting opportunity available for a V300 qualified ADHD Specialist Nurse (NMP) to join our team with remote working options.
Main duties of the job
* Follow NICE guidelines when prescribing.
* Attend school meetings and safeguarding meetings as required (via TEAMS).
* Undertake duty calls as needed.
* Use EMIS and electronic prescribing systems - training can be provided.
* Participate in regular supervision, both clinical and managerial.

Job responsibilities
* Conduct 8-10 remote review or new patient medication initiation appointments daily, each lasting approximately 45 minutes, with some telephone titrating reviews lasting 15-20 minutes.
* Manage prescription writing, with 8-10 prescriptions to authorize within a 45-minute slot.
* Allocate 30-minute admin slots daily.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* NMC Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice.
* Background in CAMHS.
* BNFC qualification and ability to follow clinical protocols.
* Experience working with children and young people diagnosed with ADHD.
* Ability to conduct face-to-face or remote appointments.
