Position Summary:
The Fleet Reliability Engineer will provide technical support and expertise on all aspects of fleet reliability. Responsibilities include creating maintenance plans, managing fleet-specific reliability, developing growth plans, analyzing data, and identifying necessary actions.
Applicants would be expected to:
1. Conduct technical analysis and reporting
2. Perform root cause analysis
3. Develop and drive procedures
4. Support technical review meetings
5. Work flexibly with maintenance teams
6. Prioritize FRACAS within actions and plans
7. Write detailed reports
8. Identify and report trends
Person Profile/Experience:
Previous rolling stock experience is preferred. In-depth fault finding and root cause analysis skills are essential. Knowledge of diesel engines is advantageous.
Qualifications:
Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering, Electrical, or Mechanical disciplines.
