Job Summary
Successful candidate with experience of ILR and bradycardia pacing implant and follow-up (VVI(R), DDD(R)), ability to work independently. Experience of ICD, CRT-P and CRT-D implant and follow-up. Will work in the Catheter Lab for device implants, Angiography, Primary PCI, and device follow-up clinics.
Responsibilities
* Perform device implants and programming in the device clinics.
* Work independently in the Cardiac Catheter Lab for devices and Angiography.
* Handle remote monitoring, Holter analysis, and non-invasive procedures.
* Maintain technical competency according to BHRS/IBHRE and Department protocols.
* Actively train and supervise junior Cardiac Physiologists and Cardiographer staff.
* Perform advanced technique implantation and follow-up of ICDs and biventricular devices.
* Participate in interventional procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications
* Heart Rhythm Device qualification such as IBHRE, EHRA or BHRS.
* BSc Degree in Cardiac Physiology.
* Extensive work experience in Cardiology and ability to work unsupervised in the cardiac cath lab.
Desirable Qualifications
* Broad range of clinical knowledge.
* Analysis and reporting of ambulatory ECG (24/48 and 7-day).
Experience & Training
* Experience in ILR, bradycardia pacing, ICD, CRT-P, CRT-D implant and follow-up.
Additional Requirements
* UK professional registration.
