If you are eager to develop your skills in a dynamic legal setting, we are seeking a Team Assistant (Apprenticeship) to join the Exeter office. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide essential administrative support across various departments and gain invaluable experience in a professional legal environment. This role is 100% office based.
This role includes the opportunity to enrol into an apprenticeship programme; participation is optional and not a requirement for the position.
The Role
The Team Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting fee earners and administrative staff.
1. Provide full administrative help to partners, fee earners, and PAs
2. Manage filing systems, including opening and closing files
3. Assist in preparing and organising documents for seminars and meetings
4. Conduct online searches and obtain official documents
5. Maintain document management systems and handle file archiving
6. Perform scanning, photocopying, and printing tasks
7. Help reception and manage incoming/outgoing post duties
8. Train as a first aider and fire warden
The Candidate
The ideal candidate for the Team Assistant role will possess the following qualities:

10. Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision
11. Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
13. Previous administrative experience is desirable
14. Excellent communication skills and a team player
15. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
